Camp Out at Dinosaur Valley State Park Pack Camp Out Preview 23-27 June 2010 The pack is planning a big camp out near Dallas this year. We will meet on Wednesday, 24 June at First Methodist and caravan to Dinosaur Valley State Park. We will return on Sunday, 27 June. The itinerary is:
The pack will pay for the camp site and supper each night, so a family will only bear half the cost of the campout. The cost will be $50/child, $50/adult. A family that wishes to participate only on certain days (if you are not able to take off this many days, for instance) may do so, and the cost will be adjusted. The pack offers a way to reduce your out-of-pocket expense to attend. If you participate in our May fundraiser, your cost will be reduced. We are selling $3 link & drink tickets for May 22, and for every ticket you sell the cost is reduced by $2. We are having a garage sale the same day, and each boy who helps for 2 hours will get a portion of the proceeds to apply to the trip. (If you are not planning to make this trip, the money you earn may be applied to the fee for Day Camp.) We are getting a group rate, so all money is due at the May pack meeting.
