Skits and Songs

A pack usually will include members of one den performing skits, leading a song, or telling jokes that they have practiced during the month. Skits are also performed around a campfire on campouts. Skits give the boys a chance to practice their showmanship. Skits can be comedy (usually slapstick) or serious. Songs can be familiar or funny.

Skits should tie in to the monthly theme. There are lots of internet sites with scripts for a skit and with jokes. Often, a good comedy skit can be scripted by putting a couple of good, clean jokes together and finding some simple props to use.
